Katy Loughney

Economic Impact Advisor for the University of Denver's Institute for Human-Animal Connection

Katy Loughney is an Economic Impact Advisor for the University of Denver's Institute for Human-Animal Connection (IHAC). Her day job is selling information security software but she took a sabbatical in 2016-17 to help launch IHAC’s economic impact practice. Katy has a BA in Economics from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Her first two dogs were adopted from TLAC in 2000, and she now lives in Denver with her two dogs, Hemingway and Huckleberry.
